HINDI IN ROMAN SCRIPT

Hinglish subtitles generator, timed to every word

Many viewers read Hindi faster in English letters: “aaj hum baat karenge”. TheMomentra converts Hindi and Marathi speech into natural Roman-script spelling and burns it into vertical clips.

You review the converted transcript before any moments are chosen, so the captions say exactly what you want.

Compare Devanagari and Roman captions on the same synthetic Hindi source, with downloadable output, phrase timings and clear limitations.

We supplied a script, synthetic voice and phrase timings, then rendered the clip locally. This demonstrates output and caption styling; it does not measure automatic transcription or speaker tracking.

What you get

  • Natural Hinglish spelling

Devanagari speech is converted the way people actually type Hinglish, not letter-by-letter transliteration.

  • Timing kept word by word

Each converted word inherits its original word's timing, so highlighted captions stay in sync.

  • English stays English

English words and sentences in a mixed video are left as they are.

  • Review before clips are made

The transcript you correct is the text the captions will show, with find and replace for names and spellings.

  • Change your mind before you confirm

The original Devanagari transcript is kept, so you can switch back to captions as spoken until you confirm the transcript.

  • Ready for every platform

Publish to YouTube Shorts from TheMomentra, or download the MP4 for Reels and other apps.

How it works

  1. 01

    Choose Roman before processing

Start a new project with Roman caption script. This converts the transcript before the moment-selection step.

  2. 02

    Choose consistent spellings

Review the converted text. Keep English terms unchanged and correct names or spellings that do not fit your audience.

  3. 03

Keep the meaning in the edit

A spelling change is not a translation. Check the words against the source audio and retain complete thoughts when trimming.

  4. 04

    Compare the saved clip

Watch the actual rendered captions, including punctuation and line breaks, before using the MP4 elsewhere.

Questions

How do I get Hinglish captions?

Choose “Roman script” as the caption script when you upload, or in the project's settings before the transcript is confirmed.

Does it work for Marathi too?

Yes. Marathi speech can also be converted to Roman script. English is left unchanged.

Can I fix a word it spells differently?

Yes. You review and edit the converted transcript before any moments are chosen, and can correct caption text in each clip.

Will it post anything without me?

No. Every clip waits until you have watched it and confirmed its content, captions, visuals and audio. YouTube uploads start as private, and you choose the channel, audience and visibility each time.

Can I try it for free?

Yes. The Free plan includes 30 minutes of video a month with no card needed, and your first video has no watermark.
