Automatic Hindi subtitles for your Shorts and Reels

TheMomentra transcribes Hindi speech, including Hindi mixed with English, and burns captions into vertical clips in Devanagari, the way it was spoken.

Prefer captions your audience reads in English letters? Switch the project to Roman script for Hinglish captions.

RENDERED EXAMPLE · SYNTHETIC SOURCE

See the actual file, not just an illustration

Compare Devanagari and Roman captions on the same synthetic Hindi source, with downloadable output, phrase timings and clear limitations.

We supplied a script, synthetic voice and phrase timings, then rendered the clip locally. This demonstrates output and caption styling; it does not measure automatic transcription or speaker tracking.

What you get

  • Devanagari that renders properly

Captions and titles use a dedicated Devanagari typeface, so conjuncts and matras display correctly in the studio.

  • You check the transcript first

Passages that were hard to make out are flagged. Listen to any line from the original and correct it before clips are chosen.

  • Word-by-word timing

Each word keeps its own timing, so highlighted captions follow the speaker word by word.

  • Hindi and English together

Speech that switches between Hindi and English in one video is detected automatically.

  • Find and replace in Hindi

Fix a misspelt name across the whole transcript at once; matching works with Hindi script.

  • Your style, your position

Choose highlighted, outlined, boxed or minimal captions, the colour and size, and keep them in the safe area.

How it works

  1. 01

    Keep Devanagari captions

Upload a source you own. Choose captions as spoken so the Hindi text stays in Devanagari.

  2. 02

    Review names and mixed speech

Listen to uncertain passages. Check names, punctuation and English terms such as API before confirming the transcript.

  3. 03

    Inspect line breaks and timing

Open a clip, correct the phrases and choose caption size and position. Watch conjuncts and matras in the saved render.

  4. 04

    Review the actual export

Play the complete saved MP4 with sound. Check text on a phone, then download or deliberately publish to YouTube.

Questions

Can I get Hindi captions in English letters (Hinglish)?

Yes. Choose Roman script for the project. Hindi speech is converted to natural Hinglish spelling before you review the transcript, and each word keeps its original timing.

What if the transcript gets a word wrong?

Unclear passages pause for your review before any moments are chosen. You can correct any line, and changes made after clips exist can update those clips with the corrected words.

Does it translate my video into Hindi?

No. Captions follow the language that was spoken. You can type your own reviewed translation for a clip's captions.

Will it post anything without me?

No. Every clip waits until you have watched it and confirmed its content, captions, visuals and audio. YouTube uploads start as private, and you choose the channel, audience and visibility each time.

Can I try it for free?

Yes. The Free plan includes 30 minutes of video a month with no card needed, and your first video has no watermark.
